It may be selling in relatively small numbers
but TVR isn't ready to abandon the biggest selling TVR ever. The
facelifted Chimaera is ready for the summer of 2001 even if the weather
isn't.
Faired in headlamps and new seats are the most obvious changes, although a number of other subtle changes have been made to the interior switchgear too. Under the covers it features uprated sports suspension too.
With the Griffith on its way out and TVR's other models using the AJP V8 or the TVR Straight Six there's only the Chimaera left to provide the unique TVR/Rover V8 sound that still has other motorists lowering their windows to sample.
There's life in the old fire breathing monster yet!
