IMMACULATE 2003 TUSCAN S 4.0 Mk1 INC PRE-OILER CAMCOVER (2003)

18,980 miles £21,750
Regrettably I have to put my pride and joy up for sale. It is a MK1 Tuscan S 4.0 litre in Grigio Titanio; A stunning metallic titanium silver grey with a perfect and totally unblemished full hide interior in a contrasting ox blood and grey which really compliments the rest of the car. The luxurious full hide interior is regularly treated with leather cream and looks as new throughout. As per the full "S" specifications, the car has the more highly tuned Speed 6 engine (390 bhp), Air conditioning (recently re-gassed), 18-inch spider wheels, CD/MP3 hifi, Close ratio gearbox (confirmed), larger more efficient brakes, front splitter and rear aerofoil to complete the package.

This car has done just under 19,000 miles and has been thoroughly pampered, never raced or tracked. It lives under full cover in a neoprene lined and de-humidified garage and never ventures out in the rain. The chassis has been waxoyled from new and is in perfect condition as is the entire underside of the car. There are a couple of tiny marks on one wheel rim edge otherwise all wheels are in excellent condition and tyres (Toyos) perfect and with plenty of tread. Rear tyres were renewed around 3k miles ago. The air splitter under the front nose of the car may have a few expected minor marks on it from stones and road debris etc otherwise the car is in exceptional (almost as new) condition both inside and out with barely a blemish or stone chip to be found anywhere on the car.

The car had a full engine rebuild in July 2006 (some 7k miles ago) by TVR Power and was rebuilt with the latest specification engine components and is now fully sorted. In addition to this I also had one of the excellent Speed Six pre-oiler / cam cover kit as produced by Raceproved Ltd fitted (at a cost of circa £1500 fitted). This kit comprises of an additional ECU and electric pump that prevents the engine starting until oil has been fully pumped from the reservoir into the main engine block and also through a separate filter unit up to a specially designed (and very attractive) cam cover which comes fitted with integral dual spray bars to ensure that all cams and valve gear are fully lubricated before the engine starts (8-10 seconds typically); A quick start can be had by turning the key "on-off-on" thus bypassing oil priming delay where required. The kit is exceptionally well designed and engineered, and makes an effective addition to a Speed Six engine, providing a good insurance policy against any lack of top end oil. In addition to this, over the two years (and 3k miles) I have owned the car, various engine and lambda sensors have been replaced, a new battery, brake discs and pads, a new coil and high quality silicone HT leads. I have also fitted stainless steel "Carbon Can" sports exhausts (since photos were taken) which sound absolutely amazing. They regularly set off car alarms, scare pensioners and make children drop their ice creams!

The car has wanted for absolutely nothing and has a full accompanying TVR service history from the same garage that originally sold it from new. Also included are a spare set of original car mats, spare seat pad, the original hand book, a folder containing receipts and numerous recently taken photos of the engine bay area, engine and internal cams and valve train so that any prospective buyer can clearly see how well the engine, engine bay area (i.e. the usually unseen areas of the car) have been cared for as well. Also included, two cans of tyre inflator spray, an unused TVR toolkit still in its bubble wrap bag, a large protective bag for the rear windscreen and a new set of special Tuscan jump leads, which plug into the socket under the front N/S wing.

The car had a major service 3k miles ago with cams and valves checked but has also since had another full oil and filter change administered with a further valve train check when the pre-oiler cam cover was installed around 1000 miles ago. MOT until April 2010, Tax until end of March 2010.

This is a particularly well looked after and stunning example of this superb head turning car; short of buying a new one at more than twice the price, you will be hard pressed to find a better one for this money.

** Genuinely interested parties only please **

Please Note: Unless you have proof of a suitable group 20 insurance that covers cars not owned by yourself (many don't), you will not be able to drive the car and will have to be driven instead.

£21,750 O.V.N.O.

Part Exchange: Might consider a Superb, Sorted Wedge + cash for the Tuscan
