MOTHER OF ALL POTHOLES SPOTTED IN MOTHER RUSSIA

The unusually harsh winter we've just had may have dropped a few nasty potholes onto the UK's road network, but spare a thought for the Russians - who have to deal with holes altogether more nightmarish.

We're not sure when this video was shot or from whence it came (other than YouTube, of course), but the 3ft-deep crater does make our recent troubles with an Audi R8 and a nasty road hole pale into insignificance. There's only one way to deal with this pothole, we reckon, and that's by not Russian (groan)...

Mind you, judging by the compilation of CCTV clips of Moscow traffic that were recently posted up in this thread, potholes are the least of your worries if you're driving in a Russian city... we'll stick to Cumbria and an Audi R8...
