MANSORY UNVEILS ROLLS GHOST 'WHITE EDITION'

German tuner Mansory (almost) creates a tasteful car

It's finally happened: Mansory, German tuner of high-end luxury cars - and of deeply dubious taste - has almost created something palatable.

The last time we covered a Mansory creation was at Geneva, when the eye-breakingly foul Rolls-Royce Ghost Gold Edition was on display.

The latest piece from Mansory is along the same lines - it features the same bodykit, alloys and dodgy boot spoiler - but it is painted in a blissfully calm white, and has been dubbed the Ghost White Edition.

We're not sure about the white-finished 22in alloys, and the interior trim appears to take its design inspiration from those Guylian Belgian chocolate seashells, but overall it's a dramatic improvement on the blue, yellow and gold monstrosity that previously hurt our retinas so.

Mansory is going to make three Ghost White Editions, which are finished off with a 68hp power upgrade and an extra 59lb ft to make 638hp and 634lb ft of torque. Mansory reckons it's enough to cut 0.4secs from the 0-62mph sprint, making that a 4.5secs affair, while the top speed has been derestricted to 180mph.
