So what do we think of this one ... must have been driving like a complete ar5e to kill himself on that bit of road. Doesn't appear the Police were chasing or anything.

Driving off without paying for fuel is a sh1t thing to do, and I'd wish pain on the driver, but I wouldn't wish him dead. I feel very sorry for his family.

Driver killed fleeing scene

A MAN who died in a road accident was fleeing a garage he had just stolen petrol from, an inquest heard this week.

Terry Davey, 20, of Roberts Road, High Wycombe, died in the early hours of Friday, September 3, last year when he lost control of his car on a bend in Holmer Green Road, Hazelmere.

I wouldn't wish death on the man, but it wouldn't have happened if he had paid like everyone else.
However I really do feel sorry for his family.
It's a tragedy, but self inflicted IMHO.
Once again, I say, every action has a reaction. Driving at high speed away from the scene of a crime always has the potential to go pear shaped.

Just thank God he didn't kill your wife or kids in the process.

I feel so sorry for his family, but do you think that if he was nicking petrol he bothered to buy insurance?

I have no sympathy whatsoever for him. Also, precisely how do you kill yourself fleeing a petrol station bill? pull out of forecourt assumedly as quick as you can (say 20mph max), be on road, job done. I supposed he must have pulled out in front of / into a hgv or somesuch.

My money says this was actually 'person kills themself by driving like a tt shortly after stealing from a petrol station'.

Its sad for the parents that they should have been responsible for bringing such a Tt into the world.

sorry to sound callous, but good riddance to low-lifes like this.

what would he have done next? stolen your car? broken into your house? held up your local post office?

just another example of st tony bliar's no-values britain "i want it so i'll have it. now."

"you've got it i haven't so i want it. now."

thatcher made that ominous prophecy "there is no such thing as society" - lo and behold, st tony bliar has made it a reality.

Little sympathy here. It has been mentioned about insurance. Wild assumption I know, but based on years of experience I'd say there is a strong liklihood this person will be an active criminal. Using cars to commit crime, driving with no regard to anyone else and generally sticking two fingers up to everyone else.

Well, what goes round comes round, and on that day the law of averages caught up with him.

Good riddance.

The worlds a better place without scum like this. Good riddance, wouldn't bother me a bit if this happened a lot more often.

I worked nights in a petrol station for beer money whilst I was at college. Non-payers were the bane of my life - absolute T***TS the lot of 'em!

Good riddance to bad rubbish as far as I am concerned. I have no sympathy for him whatsoever.

Local to me this one,

This lad managed to crash his car into a heavily wooded area just past a slight bend about 150yards from the nearest petrol station (the one I guess he robbed). He must have been going some in this 30 as he got a good 15 foot through some pretty big trees. There is a scamera about another 100 foot down the hill but I doubt he would have worried about that.

I never saw the accident but do remember loads of flowers etc some someone must have loved him.

It all went pear shaped about where the Green is of Holmer Green Road

Feel sorry for the people that had to go and scrape his sorry ass out of the car and tidy everything up afterwards to be honest.

M6Fiesta: You mentioned that you encountered non-payers whilst working at a petrol station. Out of interest how frequently did it happen?
