Any one here go chav hunting? Back when I had my S2000, I used to go out a find some chav up Fiesta/Corsa/Saxo etc, wait until they started being a cock on the road (tailgating other drivers, stupid over taking etc) That marked the start of the hunt, then I'd persure them sometime for miles, so funny to see how frustrated they'd get!

Took a mate out for "a quick spin" found a stroen ttso VTR atleast 4 up, pulled alongside, chav nails it, my passenger laughs and waves as I drop a cog and give them the 16 Psi salute! Most satisfying. biggrin

I don't understand why bother looking to race kids in cars?

We were all young at one stage and thought we were the next nigel mansel in whatever shopping trolley our first car was, so what's the big deal. Makes me question who's the idiot young chav or someone in a car worth a lot more, possibly responsible job, house, family etc going round looking to race them for cheap thrills.

(I'm going to get flamed now) getmecoat

I remember tootling along in a completely unassuming Bora TDi in L1 on the M6. I was a mile or two away from my intended exit when a chavved up Civic rattled past me and proceeded to cut up/undertake/overtake everyone dangerously and was basically being driven by a complete arse (I mean I hate MLMs but this guy was just plain dangerous).

It gave me the needle and I know it was wrong of me but as we both left the motorway at the same exit I drove a little 'aggressively' myself. He knew it was aimed at him and he was surprisingly subdued after that! He stayed at a respectable distance from me, probably thinking I was plod. Either way it seemed to surprise and confuse him that someone had actually fought back!

Right or wrong, it was quite satisfying.

Whoa, this was meant to be taken light heartedly. Never raced them, just used to be a cock back to them to see how they liked it and more often than not they didn't. Anyway the chav have the upper hand now as I drive a £450 97 Golf diesl estate
Get banned did you?

If chavs drive Elise's & M powered BMW's then yes!
If they don't, then NO.
