An excellent effort, although you obviously have far too much time on your hands.

I am also quite surprised that you didn't fuse your house.

May I suggest a series of videos - "Dr. Yeats Amazing World of Dangerous Experiments" would be a sure fire winner.

I am often in Cambridge at the University, so would be happy to lend a hand.

Upon further reflection, I think it might work better with a rasher of bacon, stretched out with bulldog clips used instead of forks.

I am not sure that bacon has enough moisture content to conduct electricity. Might try that at the weekend if I can be arsed. Problem was mainly the smell, as you can see I stopped the sausage experiment early out of consideration for the neighbours
